View your wallet history on a blockchain explorer

Blockchain explorers let you look up activity recorded on a supported network. Use an explorer to check whether a transfer completed, find a transaction ID, review balances, or investigate activity that doesn’t appear in Phantom.

You don’t need to connect your wallet to view this information. Search for a wallet address or transaction ID.

Activity on blockchain networks is public. Anyone who knows your wallet address can view its onchain balances, token holdings, and transaction history.

Find your wallet address #

Mobile app #
  1. Tap the + button in the lower right, then tap Receive.
  2. Select the network you want to view activity for.
  3. Copy the address.
Browser extension #
  1. On the Home tab, click Receive.
  2. Select the network you want to view activity for.
  3. Copy the address.

View your wallet on a blockchain explorer #

Choose an explorer for the same network as your wallet address. For example, use Solscan for Solana or Etherscan for Ethereum.

  1. Copy your wallet address from Phantom.
  2. Open the explorer for that network. See Blockchain explorers by network.
  3. Paste your wallet address into the search bar and open the matching result.

The address page can show the following information:

  • Balances: The assets held at the address.
  • Token holdings: Tokens associated with the address, including some that Phantom may hide or filter.
  • Transaction history: Transfers and other onchain activity involving the address.

Find a transaction #

Each blockchain transaction has a unique identifier. On Solana, it’s called a signature. On many other networks, it’s called a transaction hash or transaction ID.

Use this identifier to open the exact transaction or share it with a support team when troubleshooting a transfer.

Important: You can share a transaction ID with an exchange, app, or support team. Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase or private key with anyone, including Phantom Support.

In Phantom #

If the transaction appears in History, you can open it directly on a blockchain explorer.

Mobile app #
  1. Tap your profile avatar in the upper left, then tap History.
  2. Open the transaction.
  3. Tap View on Solscan for Solana, or the equivalent option for another network.
Browser extension #
  1. Click History (the clock icon) in the lower right.
  2. Open the transaction.
  3. Click View on Solscan for Solana, or the equivalent option for another network.
On a blockchain explorer #

If you have the transaction ID, paste it into the explorer’s search bar.

If you have only the wallet address, take these steps:

  1. Search for the address on the explorer for the correct network.
  2. Open Transfers, Token Transfers, or the equivalent tab.
  3. Find the transfer using its token, amount, date, and sending or receiving address.
  4. Select the transaction to open its details.

Tab names vary by explorer. If you don’t find the transfer in one tab, check the other activity tabs for the address.

Review transaction details #

Open a transaction to check its details:

  • Signature or transaction hash: The unique identifier for the transaction.
  • Status: Whether the transaction completed, is pending, or failed.
  • Time: When the transaction was recorded.
  • From and to addresses: The addresses involved in the transfer.
  • Token transfers: The assets and amounts moved.
  • Network fee: The fee charged to process the transaction.

When checking a transfer, compare the receiving address, network, token, and amount with what you expected. Copy the signature or transaction hash if you need help investigating it.

Blockchain explorers by network #

Use the explorer for the network you want to check. Phantom links to these explorers by default. Where supported, you can choose another explorer in Settings > Preferences > Preferred Explorer.

EthereumEtherscan
BaseBaseScan
Robinhood ChainBlockscout
PolygonPolygonscan

Tip: Bookmark trusted explorers so you can return to them without relying on search results or ads.

Troubleshooting #

Your wallet address doesn't appear on a blockchain explorer #

If the explorer can’t find your address, or the information looks incomplete, check the following:

  • Verify that the explorer is for the correct network.
  • Compare the address with the one you copied from Phantom.
  • If the activity was recent, refresh the page and try again.
  • If you’re using a test network, use its testnet explorer.

An address may have no recorded activity on one network even if it has balances or transactions on another.

You can’t find a transaction #

Search for the transaction ID directly if you have it. Otherwise, check the address’s transfer and transaction tabs.

Confirm that you’re looking at the correct wallet address and network. For an incoming transfer, ask the sender for the transaction ID so you can check its status and destination.

A token appears on the explorer but not in Phantom #

Explorers may show tokens and spam transfers that Phantom hides or filters.

  • Check whether the token is hidden. See Unhide a token in Phantom or Unhide a collectible in Phantom.
  • Phantom may filter some tokens that still appear on blockchain explorers.
"Account not exist onchain" #

On a Solana explorer, this message means there is currently no onchain account at that address on the selected network. This can happen if the address has never been funded with SOL or its account has been closed.

It does not necessarily mean the wallet holds no tokens. Tokens such as CASH are held in separate token accounts associated with the wallet address.
