Common issues #
I'm being prompted to choose a username after signing in with Google or Apple #
If you’re prompted to choose a username after signing in with Google or Apple, and your original username isn’t available, you may have signed in with a different provider than the one you originally used to create your wallet.
For example, if you created your wallet with Google but signed in with Apple using the same email address, Phantom creates a separate wallet. The same applies if you originally used Apple and later signed in with Google.
Try signing in with the other provider. If you used Google to create your wallet, sign in with Google. If you used Apple, sign in with Apple.
Your original profile should appear after signing in with the correct provider. If it doesn't, contact Phantom Support.
I have two usernames linked to the same wallet #
This is expected. If you originally created your wallet with a Google or Apple account and later restored it using its recovery phrase, Phantom treats that as a new setup and creates a new profile. Both profiles point to the same wallet, so transfers to either username arrive at the same place. You can use either one.
