You can use more than one sign-in method to access the same Phantom profile, Cash account, and predictions.

If you created your wallet with Google or Apple, that account is enabled as a sign-in method by default. You can enable additional recovery phrases or private keys as sign-in methods.

You can’t add a Google or Apple account as a new sign-in method to an existing wallet.

What you can access #

Any enabled sign-in method gives you access to your Phantom profile, Cash account, and predictions, including open positions.

Access to crypto and perps depends on the wallet addresses linked to the sign-in method you use.

For example, suppose you sign in with Google, then import a wallet with a recovery phrase and enable that phrase as another sign-in method. If you later reset the app and restore with that phrase, you can access:

• Your same Phantom profile, Cash account, and predictions.
• The crypto and perps linked to that recovery phrase’s wallet addresses.

To access the crypto and perps linked to your Google account’s wallet addresses, use your Google sign-in.

View your sign-in methods #

1. Open Settings.
2. Tap Security & Privacy.
3. Tap Sign-in Methods.
4. Select a sign-in method to see its associated wallet accounts.

Enable a sign-in method #

Importing a wallet adds its accounts to your device. To use its recovery phrase or private key to sign in to your Phantom profile, you need to enable it as a sign-in method.

1. Open Sign-in Methods.
2. Tap a 
3. Turn a recovery phrase or private key on or off.

When you turn it on, you can use it to access the same Phantom profile, Cash account, and predictions.

When you turn it off, you can no longer use it to access that profile, Cash account, or predictions. You can still use it to restore its own wallet accounts. Disabling a sign-in method doesn’t remove the wallet or move any funds.

If a sign-in method isn’t on this device #

You may see a message that an enabled sign-in method isn’t on this device. This means a recovery phrase or private key you previously enabled hasn’t been imported on this device after an app reset or reinstall.

It can still be used to sign in to your Phantom profile and access your Cash account and predictions.

Confirm your sign-in methods #

If you have multiple sign-in methods enabled, Phantom may ask you to review them and choose which ones you want to enable for signing in to your Phantom profile. For example, you might use a Google or Apple account along with an imported recovery phrase or private key.

Any enabled method can access your Phantom profile, Cash account, and predictions.

Review each method and its associated wallet accounts. If everything looks right, tap Confirm. To make changes, tap Edit.

Confirming your sign-in methods doesn’t move or change your funds.

Keep your sign-in methods secure #

Anyone with access to an enabled sign-in method can access your Phantom profile, Cash account, and predictions.

Keep your Google or Apple account secure, and never share a recovery phrase or private key. Phantom Support will never ask for either.
