Invite a friend to Phantom and earn 25% of the net trading fees Phantom receives from their eligible trades for three months. Your friend gets 10% of their own eligible trading fees back for three months. Your earnings go to your Cash balance, and your friend’s rebates go to theirs. Both are paid in CASH.

Referral codes can only be applied during signup in the Phantom mobile app. They can’t be applied during onboarding on the browser extension or in Phantom Terminal. Once you’ve joined through a referral on mobile, eligible swaps on the browser extension also count toward referral benefits.

Share your referral link or code #

If your account is eligible to refer others, follow these steps:

1. Tap your profile avatar in the upper left.
2. Tap Refer & Earn.
3. Copy your referral link, show the QR for a referee to or use the available sharing options.

Your referral link is phantom.com/r/username.

If you change your username, your existing referrals stay linked to you. New referrals must use your new username. Update any links or codes you’ve shared, because your old code no longer links new referrals to you, and someone else may claim that username.

How to get started #

To receive referral benefits as a new user, sign up through a valid, active referral link, or enter a referral code during signup.

During signup, check that the referral code is included. If it isn’t added automatically, enter it manually on the referral screen.

Referral codes can’t be added after signup.

What referred users receive #

Referred users can receive a percentage of the fees paid on their own eligible trades back as a rebate. This is credited to the Cash account rather than deducted from the fee upfront.

The rebate percentage is shown in Phantom at transaction confirmation. Your three-month rebate period starts when the referral code is applied to your new account during mobile signup. Phantom doesn’t currently show your expiry date or remaining rebate period in the app.

When the rebate ends, the “10% discount on fees” message stops appearing during checkout. The rebate period may end earlier if the program or your eligibility ends.

Phantom may change the percentage or earning window.

What referrers earn and how payments work #

You earn 25% of the net trading fees Phantom receives from each referred friend’s eligible trades. You begin earning once your friend funds their wallet and completes their first eligible trade.

For each friend you refer, the three-month earning period starts when your referral code is applied to their new account during mobile signup. Only eligible trades within that period count toward your earnings. You won’t earn a fee share where Phantom receives no net trading fee.

Your referral earnings go to your Cash balance, and your friend’s rebates go to theirs. Both are paid in CASH, at most once per day, after the recipient meets the $1 minimum payout threshold.

You may also need to complete identity verification, provide requested information, or maintain an eligible Cash account before receiving payment.

Your fee-share percentage is shown in Phantom when you participate. Rates and earning windows may change.

Eligible trades #

Spot trades, perps, and predictions qualify as eligible trades. The trade must take place during the applicable rebate or earning window.

Track your referrals and rebates #

You can view your referral performance, earnings, and list of referred users in the Cash > Refer & Earn section. Phantom sends notifications when referral earnings or rebates are credited to your Cash balance.

A referral counts as successful when your referred friend completes their first eligible trade.

If you haven’t received a payment #

Check the following:

• The referred user signed up through a valid, active referral link, or entered the code at signup.
• The trade took place during the applicable earning window and qualified for the program.
• If you’re the referrer, the referred user funded their wallet and completed their first eligible trade.
• You’ve met any applicable payout threshold and completed any requested verification.

Referrers won’t earn a fee share where Phantom receives no net trading fee.
