Recurring buys, also known as dollar-cost averaging (DCA), let you buy a Solana token automatically on a repeating schedule. Each buy is placed for you from your Cash account, so you can build a position gradually instead of placing every order yourself.

Before you start #

• Recurring buys are available in the Phantom mobile app only.
• Recurring buys work with Solana tokens. Other networks are not supported yet.
• Recurring buys can only be funded from your Cash account. Make sure your Cash balance covers each scheduled buy. See Add money to Phantom and Understanding your Cash account.
• Each buy must be at least $1.
• Recurring orders support buys only. Recurring sells are not available.

Set up a recurring buy #

To set up a recurring buy, take these steps:

1. Open the Solana token you want to buy to view its asset page.
2. Tap Buy.
3. Enter the amount.
4. On the Review screen, use the Frequency picker to choose how often the buy repeats: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
5. Set the date and time for your recurring buys.
6. Review and confirm.

Your order appears on the token page, under Active Orders.

Phantom then repeats the buy from your Cash account on the schedule you chose. You can set up more than one recurring buy for the same token, each on its own schedule.

Manage your recurring buys #

Your active recurring buys appear under Active Orders in two places: on the token's asset page and in your Cash account. From either place, tap a recurring buy to view its details and cancel it.

On the token's asset page, recurring buys are listed as “TOKEN buy” with its schedule, for example “SOL Daily buy.” Technically, recurring buys swap from your Cash balance into the token.

To view or cancel a recurring buy, take these steps:

1. Open the token's asset page, or open your Cash account.
2. Under Active Orders, tap the recurring buy you want to manage.
3. Review its details, including the amount, the frequency, history of buys, and the next run.
4. To stop the recurring buy, tap Cancel, then confirm.

DCA notifications #

Phantom notifies you when a scheduled buy succeeds and when one fails. To manage which alerts you receive, see Manage push notifications in Phantom.

Common issues #

A scheduled buy failed #

A recurring buy can fail if your Cash balance is too low when the buy is scheduled to run. Add funds to your Cash account to keep your recurring buys running. See Add money to Phantom.

Can I set up a recurring sell? #

No. Recurring orders support buys only.

Which tokens can I set a recurring buy for? #

Any Solana token. Other networks are not supported yet.

Which account funds my recurring buys? #

Your Cash account. This is the only funding source for recurring buys.

Can I set up more than one recurring buy for the same token? #

Yes. You can create more than one recurring buy for the same token, each with its own schedule.

How do I cancel a recurring buy? #

Open the token's asset page or your Cash account, tap the recurring buy under Active Orders, then tap Cancel.

Is there a minimum amount? #

Each recurring purchase must be at least $1.
