Understand your Cash account
Cash lets you hold, send, receive, spend, and withdraw money in Phantom. You can also use your Cash balance to trade tokens, perps, predictions, and tokenized stocks, depending on availability in your region.
What is a Cash account? #
Your Cash account is a Solana wallet linked to your Phantom profile, the same profile associated with your Phantom username. It holds CASH, a USD-pegged stablecoin. Your Cash account has its own Solana address, separate from your main wallet’s Solana address.
Find your Cash account #
The Cash card appears on the Home tab once your wallet is funded. Tap it to view your Cash account.
Or on the Home tab, tap your account name above your main balance, such as Account 1, to open the account switcher. Your Cash account appears at the top of the list.
Cash as a payment method #
Cash is set as the default payment method in Phantom on mobile. You can trade spot tokens, perps, predictions with your Cash account balance.
Fund your Cash account #
Fund your Cash account with Apple Pay, Google Pay, debit cards, or bank accounts. Available methods vary by region and provider. You can also send supported stablecoins to your Cash address or sell supported tokens from your main wallet for Cash.

Identity verification with Link is required for the following:
- Funding through Stripe
- Bank transfers, domestic wires, and USD withdrawals
- The virtual Phantom debit card

Partners #
Cash connects to traditional finance (offchain) through the following partners:
- Link handles identity verification for Cash.
- Stripe handles funding with debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or linked US bank accounts. It also processes Phantom debit card transactions and handles card disputes.
- Bridge powers US bank deposits and withdrawals.
Your CASH is always held onchain.
Privacy #
Identity verification #
Phantom doesn't store your identity documents or link your wallets to your real-world identity. Your identity isn't linked to your non-Cash wallet addresses.
Bank deposits and withdrawals #
Onchain, you'll see transfers between your Cash account and a wallet associated with our partner. The bank destination and purpose of the transfer aren't visible onchain. Wallet addresses are rotated.
Card payments #
Onchain, you'll see transfers from your Cash account to a smart contract associated with our partner. Merchant names, items, and receipts aren't visible onchain. Wallet addresses are rotated.
Onchain transfers #
Crypto transfers to other Phantom users and to Solana wallets are regular blockchain transactions. Amounts and wallet addresses appear on Solana.
The Prepaid Debit Visa Card is issued by Lead Bank pursuant to licensing by Visa U.S.A. Inc. and may be used everywhere Visa is accepted. Must be 18 or older to apply. Fees may apply. See Cardholder Agreement and Phantom's website for details. Bridge Ventures LLC is the program manager for the card on behalf of Lead Bank. Phantom is the platform provider for application, access, and management of the card. Cash availability varies by jurisdiction. See Feature availability by region.
