You can cancel a transaction only if it’s still pending and it was sent on a supported EVM network (like Ethereum, Base, or Polygon).
When you cancel, Phantom sends a new transaction with a higher gas fee to replace the original. If the original transaction confirms first, the cancellation won’t go through.
Transactions that are already confirmed can’t be reversed.
On non-EVM networks (such as Solana, Bitcoin, and Sui), you can’t cancel a transaction in Phantom. These transactions will either confirm or fail on their own—so double-check the details before you send.
Cancel a pending transaction on an EVM network
- Shortly after submitting a transaction, open Recent Activity:
- Mobile: Tap the clock icon in the upper-right.
- Extension: Click the clock icon in the bottom-right.
- Select the pending transaction.
- Select Cancel.
If the transaction no longer shows as pending, it can’t be canceled.
