How to speed up my transaction

Phantom automatically calculates gas fees based on real-time network conditions and suggests the optimal fee to help ensure your transaction is confirmed successfully.

You can’t speed up transactions on the Solana network. Solana is designed for high throughput, and priority fees are automatically included during periods of congestion.

On Ethereum, however, network congestion—such as during NFT launches or increased market volatility—can lead to slower confirmation times, even when optimized fees are used.

The speed up option is available for native transfers on Ethereum and Bitcoin. It isn’t supported for dApp interactions or sending non-native tokens. Speed up is not available on Base, Polygon, Monad, Solana, or Sui.

Speed up a transaction before sending

1. On the transaction screen, select Network fee.
2. Choose a speed option:
   1. Fast: Higher fee, fastest confirmation.
   2. Average: Balanced speed and cost (default).
   3. Slow: Lower fee, slower confirmation.
3. Select Save.

Speed up a pending transaction

1. Go to the Activity tab (clock icon 🕓) at the bottom-right of the Phantom app.
2. Open the pending transaction.
3. Select Speed up and confirm.
