This article walks you through the process of connecting your Phantom wallet to the OpenSea NFT marketplace. You can connect your Phantom wallet to OpenSea to browse, buy, sell, and manage NFTs across multiple chains.
Warning: Only connect your wallet to trusted marketplaces. If a site asks you to approve unexpected transactions, always double-check the URL and be cautious.
Connect Phantom to OpenSea
Browser extension
- In your web browser, go to opensea.io.
- In the upper-right corner, click Connect Wallet, then select Phantom.
- Select the network you’d like to use—Solana, Ethereum, Base, or Polygon. This sets the default blockchain for your activity on OpenSea. You can change it later in your OpenSea settings.
- Phantom will intercept the request. Click Connect in Phantom to confirm.
- If this is your first time connecting, click Confirm to approve the Sign Message request. This step proves wallet ownership. It doesn’t cost any gas.
You’re now connected to OpenSea and can start exploring NFTs directly from your wallet.
Mobile app
- Tap the Explore tab in the lower-right corner.
- In the search bar, type "opensea."
- Select the OpenSea site, then tap Open to launch the site in your in-app browser.
- Tap the Connect button in the upper-right corner, then select Phantom.
- Select the network you want to use—Solana, Ethereum, Base, or Polygon. You can change this network later in your OpenSea settings.
- Tap Connect in Phantom to approve the connection.
- If this your first time connecting, tap Confirm in Phantom to approve the Sign Message request.
You’re now connected to OpenSea and can start exploring NFTs directly from your mobile wallet.
