Automatically confirm transactions in connected apps

  • Updated

You can set Phantom to automatically approve transactions on supported apps, so you don't need to confirm each one manually. By default, it's off. When turned on, it allows up to ten transactions per minute for two hours.

Phantom simulates transactions in the background. If anything suspicious is detected, automatic confirmation stops and displays a warning.

Turn on automatic confirmation

From Settings

To turn on automatic confirmation, follow these steps:

  1. Select your profile avatar in the upper left.
  2. Go to SettingsConnected Apps.
  3. Select the app, then set Auto-Confirm to Active.

If the option isn't there, it means the app isn't supported.

During a transaction

You can also turn on automatic confirmation when a supported app prompts a transaction.

Turn off automatic confirmation

  1. Go to SettingsConnected Apps.
  2. Select the app.
  3. Set Auto-Confirm to off.

Common issues

I don't see the auto confirm option for my app

This is normal. This feature is only available on apps Phantom has explicitly approved. If you don't see the Auto-Confirm option for the app you're using, proceed to confirm transactions manually, such as Magic Eden, Tensor, Jupiter Exchange, Star Atlas, Opensea, and Matcha.

FAQ

How do I enable auto-confirm for the app I built?

Fill out the Phantom Developer Support form.

Do I still need to connect my wallet manually?

Yes. You need to connect your wallet to an app the first time you use it. If your wallet is locked, you also need to unlock it before transactions go through. After that, if automatic confirmation is enabled and the app is supported, transactions proceed without pop-ups for a limited time.
