If you sent crypto to your Phantom wallet on a network Phantom doesn’t support, such as BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, or Linea, your crypto isn’t lost.
Because these are EVM-compatible networks, you can recover the assets using another wallet that supports the network.
Warning: Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase or private key with anyone. Anyone with access to either has full control of your wallet. Phantom Support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.
Recover your crypto
To recover your crypto, you’ll need to import the receiving account into another EVM-compatible wallet that supports the network your assets were sent on.
- Identify the network your crypto was sent on, such as BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Avalanche, or Linea.
- In Phantom, export the private key for the account that received the crypto.
- Open a wallet that supports the network.
- Import the private key.
- Switch to the correct network and confirm your crypto appears.
- Send the crypto to an exchange or wallet that supports withdrawing on a network Phantom supports.
- Withdraw or send the crypto back to Phantom using a supported network.
After recovery
Importing a private key into another wallet increases the exposure of that key.
If possible, move your crypto to a new account in Phantom after you’ve recovered it.
