How to edit your wallet account names

Managing multiple accounts within your Phantom wallet can be streamlined by assigning dedicated names to each account. This feature is particularly relevant if you have multiple accounts, enabling easier management and identification. Whether you’re labeling accounts for specific purposes such as “Burner account,” “Airdrop wallet,” or “NFT collection,” custom names help keep your transactions and assets organized.

Edit account names in the browser extension

1. Open the Phantom extension.
2. Select the icon of your current account in the top-left corner to open the sidebar.
3. Select Manage Accounts at the bottom (pencil symbol).
4. Select the account you want to rename, then select the Account Name field.
5. Enter the new name and save the changes.

Your account will now be displayed with the new name in the account list.

Edit account names in the mobile app

1. Open the Phantom mobile app.
2. Select your account name at the top.
3. Select the pencil icon next to the account that you want to rename, then select the Account Name field.
4. Enter the new name and tap elsewhere to save the changes.

Your account will now be displayed with the new name in the account list.
