Enabling and Disabling Device Authentication in Phantom

We strongly recommend that you always have some form of device authentication / biometric authentication enabled for your Phantom app to protect your assets. This guide will show you how to enable or disable device authentication in the Phantom app.

  1. Enabling Device Authentication

    • Step 1: Open the Phantom app on your device.
    • Step 2: Navigate to the app's settings by tapping on the gear icon.
    • Step 3: Go to "Security & Privacy."
    • Step 4: Find the option to enable device authentication and toggle it ON.
  2. Disabling Device Authentication

    • Step 1: Open the Phantom app on your device.
    • Step 2: Navigate to the app's settings by tapping on the gear icon.
    • Step 3: Go to "Security & Privacy."
    • Step 4: Find the option to toggle off device authentication. Disable it, and you're all set.
