We recommend enabling device or biometric authentication in the Phantom mobile app to protect your assets. This guide explains how to turn it on.
Turn on device authentication
- Open the Phantom mobile app.
- Go the Home tab.
- Tap the more menu (•••) next to the Tokens tab.
- Select Wallet Settings > Security & Privacy.
- Turn on device authentication. For example, Use Face ID Authentication on iPhone.
Your device’s biometric or passcode method will now be required to open Phantom.

- Check that your device’s security settings are properly configured.
- Make sure biometric options (like fingerprint or Face ID) are set up and allowed for the Phantom app.
