What to do if you haven’t received your tokens

  • Updated

If you’re expecting tokens from a recent onramp purchase, swap, or wallet-to-wallet transfer and don’t see them in your Phantom wallet, this guide can help. Even after funds are withdrawn or a transaction is signed, the transfer may still be processing.

While Phantom can’t speed up the transfer or recover missing funds, we can help you track their status and troubleshoot common issues.

Track missing tokens across multiple networks

Follow these steps to find out why your tokens may not have arrived:

Check the receiving address and network

Start by confirming that the tokens were sent to the correct wallet address on a supported network:

  1. Open Phantom and navigate to the Home tab.
  2. Select Receive to view your wallet addresses.
  3. Copy the address for the correct network where you expected the tokens.

If the tokens were sent to the wrong network or an unsupported one, they won’t appear in Phantom. You may need to access them using a different wallet that supports that chain.

Track your tokens using a blockchain explorer

If the address and network are correct, you can use a blockchain explorer to see if the tokens have arrived on-chain:

  1. Visit the correct blockchain explorer for your network:
  2. Paste your wallet address into the search bar.
  3. Look under the portfolio or tokens section to check for the missing asset.

If the token doesn’t appear in the explorer, it hasn’t arrived on-chain.

Track your transaction

If you have a transaction ID—from Phantom, an exchange, or an onramp provider—you can use it to check the status of your transfer:

  1. Copy the transaction ID.
  2. Paste it into the search bar of the appropriate blockchain explorer.
  3. Look for the following:
    • Status: Pending, successful, or failed.
    • Token movement: Whether the token was sent to your address.
    • Timestamps: When the transaction was submitted and confirmed.

Transaction status:

  • Pending: The transaction is still being processed. Wait a bit longer.
  • Successful: If successful but you still don’t see the tokens, revisit the address and network details, or continue to the next step.
  • Failed: The transaction didn’t complete. Contact the sender or service provider.

Check for hidden tokens in Phantom

Phantom may automatically hide tokens that are flagged as suspicious or low activity — even if they aren’t harmful. If your tokens were received but are hidden, you can manually unhide them.

To view hidden tokens:

  1. Navigate to the Home tab in Phantom.
  2. Select the menu to the right of your token list.
  3. Select Manage Tokens.
  4. Look for any hidden tokens and toggle them on to unhide them.

Note: NFTs have their own hidden section. Learn more in How to hide or report an NFT in Phantom.

Contact your onramp provider

If you used a third-party service to buy tokens, it's normal for the transfer to take some time, even if your bank shows the charge. If it's been a while after you purchased the tokens, you should contact the onramp provider directly. For more details, see When to contact your onramp provider.
