I received an email or DM from Phantom

Phantom Support will not initiate support conversations via email

  • If you’ve received an unsolicited email from someone claiming to be from Phantom Support, it is highly likely they are a scammer impersonating a Phantom team member. Scammers often create email addresses designed to look official, frequently including terms like “Phantom” or “Support” to appear legitimate.
  • Phantom Support will not initiate email contact about support issues unless you’ve submitted a ticket through help.phantom.com. If you haven’t submitted a support request and receive a message claiming to be from Phantom, do not respond. Instead, delete the message and mark it as spam.
  • Phantom will never ask for your Secret Recovery Phrase, private keys, or to send assets under any circumstance.

Phantom Support will never DM you or ask for your Secret Recovery Phrase

  • If you’ve received a direct message (DM) on social media from someone claiming to be from Phantom Support, they are very likely a scammer. These impersonators often create fake profiles that mimic Phantom’s branding and offer unsolicited help via DMs.
  • Phantom Support will never reach out via DM, and we will never ask for your Secret Recovery Phrase or other sensitive information.
  • If you receive a suspicious DM, do not engage. Please report the account and notify us by visiting help.phantom.com and submitting a ticket through our official support channel.

Phantom may send marketing emails

  • From time to time, Phantom may send marketing, educational, or product update emails — but only if you’ve opted in to receive them.
  • These emails will always come from a verified phantom.com domain, typically:
    phantom@updates.phantom.com
  • We will never ask for your Secret Recovery Phrase, private keys, or request any assets in these emails.
  • If you’re ever unsure whether an email is legitimate:
    • Double-check the sender’s address
    • Avoid clicking suspicious links
    • Reach out to our support team to confirm

Remember, you can unsubscribe from these emails at any time using the link at the bottom of the message.
