Receive tokens in Phantom

  • Updated

You can receive tokens to your Phantom wallet in a few ways. Whether you're withdrawing from an exchange, receiving from a friend, or transferring from another wallet, just share your wallet address or Phantom username with the sender.

Source Requirements
Exchange Your wallet address and correct network
Phantom user Your Phantom username (@handle)
Another wallet Your wallet address or QR code and correct network

Receive from an exchange

  1. Select Receive.
  2. Select the network you want to receive on.
  3. Copy your address or display the QR code.
  4. In the exchange, start a withdrawal and paste your Phantom address.
  5. Select the same network you chose in Phantom.
  6. Enter the amount and confirm.
  7. Tokens appear after the transaction confirms. Some exchanges require additional processing time, and networks like Bitcoin may take longer.

Sending on the wrong network can result in lost funds. Always verify the network matches in both Phantom and the exchange.

Supported exchanges

You can use many popular exchanges, including the following:

US Global
Binance.us Binance
Coinbase Bitfinex
Gate.com (US) Gate.com
Kraken Huobi
Ramp Network OKX

Receive from another Phantom user

Share your Phantom username with the sender. Your username (formatted as @handle) appears in the upper-left corner of the app or extension. The sender can then select Send, choose a token, enter your username, and confirm the transfer. Network fees apply.

Receive from another wallet

  1. Select Receive.
  2. Select the network you want to receive on.
  3. Copy your address or display the QR code.
  4. Share the address or QR code with the sender.
  5. Ask the sender to select the same network before sending.

Tokens appear after the transaction confirms. Networks like Bitcoin may take longer.

Sending on the wrong network can result in lost funds. Always verify the network matches.

Troubleshooting

Tokens sent to an unsupported network

If you sent tokens on an unsupported network like BSC or Arbitrum, they may not appear in Phantom but are often recoverable. Use an EVM-compatible wallet like MetaMask or Trust Wallet to access them. See Recover tokens sent to unsupported networks.
