Chats let you connect with other traders in real time directly in Phantom. They’re available across tokens, perps, and prediction markets in the Phantom mobile app. You can join a chat instantly from a market page to follow live activity and trade directly from the conversation.
You can also find all your recent chats, along with trending chats across the community, in the Chats tab in the main navigation.
Important: Chats aren’t a support channel. Phantom Support won’t respond to issues here. Be cautious with links, scams, or financial advice from strangers.

What are leaderboards in token chats?
In token chats, leaderboards show the top token holders currently online:
- Gold crown: top holder
- Silver star: second largest holder
- Bronze thumbs-up: third largest holder
Leaderboards aren’t shown in perp chats or prediction market chats.
What do the symbols in the chat mean?
Token chats
In token chats, the symbols next to usernames are badges. They show how much of a token a user holds compared to others in the chat. Badges update automatically based on relative holding size:
- Poo: hold $1+ of the token
- Peach: hold $10+ of the token
- Fire: hold $100+ of the token
- Card: hold $1,000+ of the token
- Diamond: hold $10,000+ of the token
Tap the purple ribbon badge icon in the lower left of a chat to view badge definitions. Badges are experimental, and some users may not see them.
Prediction market chats
In prediction market chats, chats display a user’s top holding when showing activity or positions. If a user holds contracts for multiple outcomes, only their largest position is shown. This updates automatically as their holdings change.
How are chats moderated?
Phantom uses moderation tools and community reporting to keep chats safe and spam-free.
