Phantom Cash is a set of financial tools built into your Phantom wallet. It lets you hold, send, receive, and spend money in one place—your Cash account—powered by crypto and built for everyday use.
What is a Cash account?
Your Cash account is a separate Solana address that’s tied to your Phantom profile, and it appears alongside your other accounts in Phantom. Your Cash account is designed to hold CASH, a USD‑pegged stablecoin, and it shows your balance in USD.
Your Phantom profile (the same identity that powers your Phantom username) is linked to both your regular Phantom wallet accounts and your dedicated Cash account.
In the Phantom mobile app, you'll see a dedicated Cash tab that gives you access to your Cash account. Swaps and peer-to-peer transfers happen instantly without transaction prompts.
If you're in the US, except New York and Alaska, you can also link a bank account for deposits and withdrawals, and spend your balance with the Phantom Cash debit card.

How it works
Funding
You can add funds to your Cash account by swapping Solana tokens into CASH, or through bank accounts, debit cards, Apple Pay, and direct deposits if you're in the US, except New York and Alaska. See Fund your Cash account for details.
Sending
You can send funds from your Cash account to Phantom usernames, Solana wallets, and US bank accounts if you're in the US, except New York and Alaska. See Send CASH from your Cash account for details.
Spending
If you're in the US, except New York and Alaska, the Phantom Cash debit card lets you spend your Cash balance anywhere Visa is accepted. See Spend with your Phantom Cash debit card for details.
Swapping

Withdrawing

Privacy
KYC
Phantom doesn't store your identity documents or link your wallets to your real-world identity. Link handles KYC for Phantom Cash and doesn't share your legal name or identity information with Phantom. Your identity is not linked to your non-Cash wallet addresses.
Bank deposits and withdrawals
What appears onchain: transfers between your Cash account and a Bridge wallet. The bank destination and purpose of the transfer are not visible onchain.
Card payments
What appears onchain: transfers from your Cash account to Bridge's debit card smart contract. Merchant names, items, and receipts are not visible onchain. Bridge rotates the addresses it uses.
Crypto sends
Peer-to-peer transfers to other Phantom users and sends to Solana wallets are regular blockchain transactions. Amounts and wallet addresses appear on Solana.
Security
- Self-custodial: Your Cash account is a Solana wallet that only you control.
- Always onchain: Balances are held on Solana in CASH, never as fiat in offchain accounts.
- Partner protections: Bridge manages USD-to-CASH conversions for bank transactions. The Phantom Cash debit card is issued by Lead Bank with Bridge as the program manager.
- Recovery safeguards: Phantom's Key Management System adds recovery options and extra safeguards for Cash accounts.
