Your Cash account lets you send funds to people, wallets, and bank accounts. How the funds arrive depends on where you send them and whether the recipient has Phantom Cash activated. Review the table below before you send.

Send to Phantom users via usernames
Send funds instantly to another Phantom user using their username.
- Open the Cash tab and tap Send in the lower-right corner.
- Enter the recipient’s Phantom username.
- Enter the amount, then tap Send.
If the recipient has Phantom Cash activated, they receive the funds in their Cash account, with your username shown as the sender. If they do not have Phantom Cash activated, they receive CASH in their wallet.
If the recipient activates Phantom Cash later, they can move that balance into their Cash account by going to the Cash tab → Add Cash → Quick Sell Crypto.
Send to a Solana address
Send funds from your Cash account to any wallet address on Solana.
- Open the Cash tab and tap Send in the lower-right corner.
- Enter the recipient’s Solana address. Be careful when sending to an exchange, as no exchanges currently support direct CASH deposits. To send funds to an exchange, follow the steps in Send to an exchange .
- Enter the amount, then tap Send.
The recipient receives CASH tokens directly in their wallet.
Send to a US bank account
Send funds to a US bank account, arriving as USD. This requires identity verification (KYC).
- Open the Cash tab and tap Send in the lower-right corner.
- Select a saved bank account:
- If you already added one, choose it from the list.
- If this is your first time, tap Add a bank account, enter the recipient’s routing and account numbers, leave This account is owned by me unchecked, then continue.
- Enter the amount to send.
- Choose a transfer speed:
- Standard: Free. Arrives the next business day. If you submit after the daily cutoff (1pm ET), on a weekend, or on a US holiday, processing starts the next business day.
- Fast: Free. Arrives the same business day if submitted before the daily cutoff (1pm ET). If you submit after the cutoff, on a weekend, or on a US holiday, processing starts the next business day.
- Tap Next, review the details, then tap Confirm.
Bridge, Phantom’s payments partner, converts CASH to USD one-to-one and delivers it to the recipient’s bank account.
Send to an exchange
At this time, no exchanges officially support direct CASH deposits. Sending CASH directly to an exchange can result in lost funds. Always swap CASH to a supported token before sending to an exchange.
- Withdraw to your Phantom wallet: open the Cash tab, tap Withdraw → To Account, and move the amount you want to send to one of your Phantom wallet accounts.
- In Phantom, swap CASH to a token the exchange supports, such as USDC or SOL.
- On the exchange, get the deposit address for the specific token and network.
- In Phantom, send the token to the exchange’s deposit address using the Send button.
