Phantom supports the HyperEVM network, so you can hold, send, receive, buy, and swap tokens on HyperEVM—including HYPE.
Turn HyperEVM on or off
HyperEVM is usually on by default. If you don’t see it, turn it on in Settings.
- Select your profile avatar in the upper-left.
- Go to Settings > Active Networks.
- Turn on HyperEVM.
After you turn it on, your HyperEVM address appears with your other multi-chain addresses. Because HyperEVM is EVM-compatible, it starts with 0x (like Ethereum, Polygon, and Base).
To stop using HyperEVM, go to Active Networks and turn HyperEVM off.
Get started with HYPE
HYPE is the native token on HyperEVM. You’ll use it to pay gas fees for transactions on the network.
When HyperEVM is active, HYPE is added to your portfolio automatically. To make your first transaction, swap a small amount of another token for HYPE.

Fiat on-ramps to HyperEVM
Fiat on-ramps for HyperEVM aren’t supported at this time. To fund your wallet, swap tokens from another supported network into HyperEVM assets.
Import HyperEVM wallets
Importing existing HyperEVM wallets isn’t supported at this time.
FAQ
Why don't I see HYPE in my portfolio?
This usually happens for one of these reasons:
- HyperEVM isn’t active: Go to Settings → Active Networks and turn on HyperEVM.
- HYPE is hidden:
- Mobile: Tap Tokens, tap Manage (upper-right), then turn on HYPE.
- Extension: In Tokens, select the three-dot menu (upper-right) → Manage Tokens, then turn on HYPE.
