There are two ways to add funds to your Phantom wallet. The steps vary slightly depending on whether you're using the mobile app or browser extension. Button labels vary by platform.
Mobile app
If your wallet is empty, you'll see an Add Funds button on the Home tab. Tap it to choose from two options:
- Buy Solana: Opens the Buy flow with SOL pre-selected. Enter an amount, choose a provider, and complete your purchase. Providers and payment methods vary by region. See Buy crypto in Phantom for more information.
- Receive Solana: Opens the Receive screen with SOL pre-selected, showing your QR code and wallet address. Copy or share your address to receive SOL from another wallet or exchange.
Browser extension
If your wallet is empty, you'll see two buttons on the Home tab:
- Buy SOL with cash: Opens the Buy flow with SOL pre-selected. Enter an amount, choose a provider, and complete your purchase. Providers and payment methods vary by region. See Buy crypto in Phantom for more information.
- Transfer Crypto: Opens the list of active networks, showing your QR code and wallet address on each network. Copy or share your address to receive tokens from another wallet or exchange.
