Meta now pays eligible creators in USDC (a dollar-pegged stablecoin) directly to a crypto wallet. Phantom supports USDC on both Solana and Polygon, so you can receive your Facebook or Instagram creator payouts straight into the Phantom app without needing a bank transfer or waiting days for settlement.
USDC stablecoin payouts from Meta are currently available to creators in select regions, with more markets coming throughout 2026. Check your Meta creator payout settings to see if crypto payouts are available to you.
What you'll need
- The Phantom app on mobile or browser extension (download at phantom.com/download if you do not have one).
- An eligible Meta creator account with monetization and payouts enabled.
- Your Phantom wallet address on the Solana or Polygon network.
Find your receiving address in Phantom
- Open Phantom and go to the Home tab.
- Select Receive.
- Choose your network: Solana (shown by default) or Polygon. We recommend Solana for faster transaction speeds and lower fees.
- Copy your address or save the QR code.
Your Solana address works for all tokens on Solana, including USDC. You don't need a separate address for each token.
Warning: Make sure the network you choose in Phantom matches the one you select in Meta's payout settings. Sending USDC to an address on the wrong network can result in lost funds.
Connect Phantom to Meta's creator payout settings
- Go to your Meta payout settings on Facebook (in your professional dashboard or creator monetization settings). This also applies to Instagram creator payouts routed through Meta.
- Look for the option to receive payouts in USDC (stablecoin).
- Select Solana or Polygon as your payout network.
- Paste the address you copied from Phantom.
- Confirm and save.
Meta may ask you to verify your identity or complete additional steps before enabling stablecoin payouts.
What to do once your USDC payout arrives
When Meta sends a creator payout, it'll show up as a USDC balance on the Home tab in Phantom. Solana transactions typically confirm in under a second, so you'll see funds almost instantly after Meta processes the payment.
From there, you have a few options:
- Hold your USDC (1 USDC = $1).
- Send it to a contact using your Phantom username.
- Swap USDC for SOL, ETH, or other tokens directly in the app.
- Cash out to your bank account (availability varies by region).
FAQ
Which network should I pick, Solana or Polygon?
Both work for receiving Meta creator payouts. Solana is usually faster and cheaper for USDC transfers, so it's a good default. If you already hold assets on Polygon, that's fine too.
Are there fees to receive USDC?
Phantom doesn't charge you to receive USDC payouts. You'll only see small network fees if you later send or swap your USDC.
How long does a Meta USDC payout take to arrive?
Once Meta processes the creator payout, USDC typically shows up in Phantom within a few minutes.
Can I convert USDC to my local currency?
Meta won't convert USDC to fiat for you, but you can use the Phantom Cash feature to withdraw to a bank account (US only, except NY), or swap USDC for another token and use an exchange.
My Meta USDC payout didn't show up. Why?
Check that the network in your Meta payout settings (Solana or Polygon) matches the address you provided. If it's been more than an hour and everything matches, check your transaction history in Phantom or reach out to Meta's creator support at facebook.com/business/help.
Phantom Support can also help locate your funds. Reach out using the Chat option on help.phantom.com or Settings → Help & Support in the Phantom mobile app.
Is USDC safe?
