Phantom refers to NFT-like tokens as collectibles. You can burn an unwanted NFT on the Solana network directly in the Phantom app. Burning an NFT removes it from your wallet and you receive a rebate—the SOL that was being held in the token account. Burning an NFT is irreversible, and we have no way to undo this once you proceed, so make sure to only burn unwanted NFTs.
Note: You can't burn Magic Eden's verified NFTs and NFTs on Ethereum and Polygon.
Burn an unwanted NFT on Solana in Phantom
Browser extension
- Click Collectibles.
- Click the NFT you want to burn.
- Click More → Burn Token and confirm.
- Click Burn to complete the process.
Mobile app
- Tap Collectibles.
- Tap the NFT you want to burn.
- Tap More → Burn Token and confirm.
- Tap Burn to complete the process.
