You can buy native tokens with your Cash balance or send them to Phantom from another wallet or exchange. Choose the token on the network you want to use, such as SOL on Solana or ETH on Robinhood Chain.

Native BTC is an exception: you can’t buy it directly with Cash. Instead, buy SOL with Cash, then swap SOL for BTC, or send BTC to Phantom from another wallet or platform.

Native tokens by network #

A native token is the token used to pay network fees. The token you need depends on the network you’re using.

ETH on Ethereum, Robinhood Chain, and Base is held separately on each network. Similarly, USDC on Arc is held separately from USDC on Solana, Ethereum, or other networks. Make sure you buy or receive the native token on the network where you need it.

Buy tokens with Cash (mobile only) #

Fund your Cash account using a provider available in your region, including Stripe, MoonPay, and Topper. Available payment methods vary by location and may feature debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or bank transfers. For instructions, see Add funds to your Cash account.

Or, if you’re holding stablecoins USDC, USDT, or PYUSD on Solana in another wallet or exchange, you can send them to your Cash account to be converted into CASH. For instructions, see Receive stablecoins into your Cash account.

Once your Cash balance is available, you can swap it into a supported native token.

Buy SOL #

1. In Phantom, search for Solana and open its asset page.
2. Tap the chevron next to the ticker, then choose SOL on Solana.
3. Tap Trade > Buy.
4. Enter the amount. Make sure your payment method is set to Cash.
5. Tap Review.
6. Review the quote and fees, then tap Confirm.
7. Once the swap completes, you have SOL on Solana.

Buy ETH #

Choose the network where you want to hold ETH before buying. This example uses Robinhood Chain. To buy ETH on Ethereum or Base, choose that network’s variant after tapping the chevron.

1. In Phantom, search for Ethereum and open its asset page.
2. Tap the chevron next to the ticker, then choose ETH on Robinhood Chain.
3. Tap Trade > Buy.
4. Enter the amount. Make sure your payment method is set to Cash.
5. Tap Review.
6. Review the quote and fees, then tap Confirm.

Once the swap completes, you have ETH on Robinhood Chain.

Buy USDC on ARC #

You can buy USDC on Arc with your Cash balance in Phantom.

1. In Phantom, search for USDC and open its asset page.
2. Tap the chevron next to the ticker, then choose USDC on Arc.
3. Tap Trade > Buy.
4. Enter the amount. Make sure your payment method is set to Cash.
5. Tap Review.
6. Review the quote and fees, then tap Confirm.

Once the swap completes, you have USDC on Arc.

Buy HYPE on HyperEVM #

You can buy HYPE on HyperEVM with your Cash balance in Phantom.

1. In Phantom, search for HYPE and open its asset page.
2. Tap the chevron next to the ticker, then choose HYPE on HyperEVM.
3. Tap Trade > Buy.
4. Enter the amount. Make sure your payment method is set to Cash.
5. Tap Review.
6. Review the quote and fees, then tap Confirm.

Once the swap completes, you have HYPE on HyperEVM.

Buy POL on Polygon #

You can buy POL on Polygon with your Cash balance in Phantom.

1. In Phantom, search for POL and open its asset page.
2. Tap the chevron next to the ticker, then choose POL on Polygon.
3. Tap Trade > Buy.
4. Enter the amount. Make sure your payment method is set to Cash.
5. Tap Review.
6. Review the quote and fees, then tap Confirm.

Once the swap completes, you have POL on Polygon.

Buy BTC #

You can’t swap directly from Cash into native BTC. Buy SOL first, then swap it for BTC.

1. In Phantom, search for Solana and open its asset page.
2. Make sure the selected token is SOL on Solana. To change it, tap the chevron next to the ticker and choose the variant on Solana.
3. Tap Trade > Buy.
4. Enter the amount. Make sure your payment method is set to Cash.
5. Tap Review, review the details, then tap Confirm.
6. Once your SOL is available, search for BTC and open its asset page.
7. On the BTC asset page, tap Trade > Buy.
8. Enter the amount. Make sure your payment method is set to SOL.
9. Review the quote and fees, then tap Confirm.

Once the swap completes, you have native BTC on Bitcoin.

Send tokens to Phantom from another wallet or exchange #

If you already have native tokens elsewhere, send them to your Phantom address on the same network.

1. Tap the + button in the lower right, then tap Receive.
2. The Tokens tab opens with your Solana address by default. This address receives SOL and other tokens on Solana.
3. To receive tokens on another network, tap the network name below the QR code, then choose the network.
4. Open the sending wallet or exchange and start a transfer or withdrawal.
5. Copy the address from Phantom and paste it into the sending app, or scan Phantom’s QR code with the sending app.
6. Select the same network in the sending app and enter the amount.
7. Review the details to make sure the address and network match, then confirm the transfer.

The tokens appear in Phantom after the transaction confirms. Some exchanges require more time, and networks such as Bitcoin may take longer.
