Import your Privy (Fomo, pump.fun) wallet into Phantom
Apps such as Fomo, Pump.fun, and Jupiter use Privy to create wallets when you sign up with an email address. If you have one of these wallets, you can export its private key and import it into Phantom.
What you need #
- Access to the app where you created your wallet.
- The Phantom app. Download it for free on iOS, Android, or as a browser extension at phantom.com/download.
- A private place where no one can see your screen while you view your private key.
Warning: Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase or private key with anyone. Anyone with access to either has full control of your wallet. Phantom Support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.
1. Export your private key #
Sign in to the app where you created your wallet, then follow its instructions to export your private key.
Fomo #
On mobile:
- Go to Settings > Profile and Account > Export keys.
- Sign in again to confirm.
- Tap Export key.
- Choose the wallet you want to export, such as Solana or EVM.
- Tap Copy key.
In the browser:
- Go to Settings > Accounts and addresses > Export keys.
- Click Continue, then sign in again to confirm.
- Choose the network, such as Solana or Ethereum.
- Click Export key > Copy key.
Fomo uses the same EVM private key across its EVM networks. On mobile, choose the EVM wallet. In the browser, choose an EVM network, such as Ethereum.
When you import this key into Phantom, Phantom discovers your addresses on the EVM networks both apps support.
Pump.fun #

- Go to Settings > View wallets.
- Choose the wallet you want to export, such as Solana or EVM.
- Select Export private key, then sign in again to confirm.
- Select Export Wallet and choose the wallet.
- Slide to unlock, then select Copy key.
In the browser:
- Go to Account > Export wallet.
- Choose the wallet you want to export, such as Solana or EVM.
- Slide to unlock, then select Copy key.
Other apps that use Privy #
Look for an Export wallet or Export private key option. If you can’t find it, check the app’s official help documentation.
Before importing, note the wallet’s network and public address so you can check them in Phantom.
2. Import the private key into Phantom #
Choose the instructions that match your setup. Both guides include steps for the mobile app and browser extension.
If you’re setting up Phantom #
- Mobile app: On the welcome screen, go to More Options > Import Private Key.
- Browser extension: On the welcome screen, go to I Already Have a Wallet > Import Private Key.
For the full instructions, see Import a private key.
If you already use Phantom #
- Mobile app: Go to Settings > Manage Accounts > + button > Import Private Key.
- Browser extension: Go to Settings > Manage Accounts > Add Account > Import Private Key.
For the full instructions, see Import an additional wallet using a private key.
3. Confirm the wallet address #
Select the imported account in Phantom and compare its public address with the address for the same network in the original app. The addresses should match.
If they don’t, check that you exported the intended wallet and selected the correct network.
Back up your imported private key #
Keep a separate, secure backup of every private key you import. Restoring your primary Phantom wallet with its recovery phrase or Google or Apple account won’t restore imported wallets. You’ll need to import their keys again.
