Ordinals, rare sats, and BRC-20 tokens
Phantom no longer supports Ordinals, rare sats, or BRC-20 tokens. They no longer appear in Phantom, including in Collectibles, and Phantom no longer protects them when you send BTC.
Important: Sending BTC from Phantom may spend satoshis that contain these assets. If you hold Ordinals, rare sats, or BRC-20 tokens at your Bitcoin address and want to keep them, don't send BTC from that address. Move them with an external wallet or platform that supports them first.
What these assets are #
- Ordinals: Individual satoshis with data attached, such as images, text, or other content. They are sometimes described as Bitcoin NFTs.
- Rare sats: Collectible satoshis with unique traits, such as notable block positions or historical significance.
- BRC-20 tokens: A token standard built on top of Ordinals.
Are my assets lost? #
No. These assets are still onchain and remain associated with your Bitcoin address. Phantom just no longer displays or manages them. You can use external platforms to view or manage them.
Only connect your wallet to trusted sites. Options include:
- Magic Eden: Go to magiceden.io, select Bitcoin, and connect your Phantom wallet to view and trade your assets.
- UniSat: Go to unisat.io and connect your Phantom wallet to view and manage your assets.
- Ordinals Wallet: Go to ordinalswallet.com to view assets associated with your Bitcoin address.
