If Blur shows MetaMask as the wallet connection option, you can still connect with Phantom. Phantom can handle the connection when it is set as your default wallet for EVM apps.
Warning: Only connect your wallet to trusted marketplaces. Double-check the site URL before connecting, and be cautious if a site asks you to approve an unexpected transaction.
Before you connect
Blur connects to Phantom through the MetaMask option. Before you start, set Phantom as your default wallet for EVM apps. For help, see Use the Phantom browser extension alongside other wallets.
Browser extension
- Go to blur.io.
- Click Connect Wallet, then choose MetaMask.
- Phantom will open if it is set as your default EVM wallet.
- Click Connect in Phantom to confirm.
- If this is your first time connecting to Blur, click Confirm to approve the Sign Message request.
Blur should now recognize your wallet, and you can bid, buy, or list NFTs.
Mobile app
- Tap the Explore tab in the lower right.
- Search for Blur.
- Choose the Blur site, then tap Open to launch the site in Phantom’s in-app browser.
- Tap Connect, then choose MetaMask.
- Tap Connect in Phantom to confirm.
- If this is your first time connecting to Blur, tap Confirm in Phantom to approve the Sign Message request.
Blur should now recognize your wallet, and you can bid, buy, or list NFTs.
