How to use a Ledger wallet with the Phantom mobile app

  • Updated

This article shows you how to pair a Bluetooth-enabled Ledger device, such as the Nano X or Stax, with the Phantom mobile app and use it to sign transactions.

Note: Ledger Nano Gen 5 via Bluetooth isn't currently supported.

Before you begin

Connect your Ledger wallet to Phantom on mobile

Keep your Ledger unlocked during setup to ensure account discovery. If the device locks, you may need to restart the Phantom app and begin setup again.

  1. Open the Phantom mobile app.
  2. Tap your profile avatar in the upper-left corner.
  3. Tap Add Account, then tap Connect Hardware Wallet.
  4. Allow Bluetooth access when prompted. Make sure your Ledger is unlocked and Bluetooth is on.
  5. Tap Connect your Ledger device, select your device, and tap Continue.
  6. Select the networks you want to connect: Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Bitcoin, or Base.
  7. When prompted, open the corresponding app (for example, the Solana app) on your Ledger.
  8. Tap Select Accounts, choose which addresses to connect, and tap Continue.

Note: If you hold Bitcoin (BTC), Ledger Live may show different balances than Phantom. Ledger generates new Bitcoin addresses automatically, so BTC you’ve received may appear in different accounts. Learn more in Ledger Support
