If you’re trying to log out of Phantom, there’s no traditional “Log Out” button. But if you want to remove all wallet data from your device and return to the starting screen, you can reset the app to start from scratch.
Before you begin
Resetting the app deletes all wallet data on your device, including recovery phrases. Make sure you've backed up your recovery phrase, or (for seedless wallets) still have access to the email and the 4-digit PIN you used to create your wallet.
Reset Phantom
Browser extension
- Click your profile avatar in the upper-left corner.
- Click Settings (gear icon).
- Click Security & Privacy.
- Click Reset App, then click Continue.
Mobile app
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper-left corner.
- Go to Settings → Security & Privacy.
- Tap Reset App, then tap Continue.
After the reset, the app will present you with an onboarding screen. You can either create a new wallet or restore access to an existing wallet.
