Warning: Resetting the app will wipe out all your data, including recovery phrases.
If you want to return the Phantom app to its default state and erase all data, you can do so by resetting the app.
Before you begin
To avoid losing access to your wallets after reset, back up your recovery phrase before proceeding. To learn how to view your recovery phrase, see How to view your secret recovery phrase or private key.
Reset your Phantom app
- Open Phantom and on the Home tab, select the three-dot menu.
- Select Wallet Settings.
- Go to Security & Privacy.
- Select Reset App and follow the prompts.
After the reset, the app will present you with an onboarding screen. You can either create a new wallet or use a seed phrase to import your previous wallets.
