Fix issues signing transactions with Saga Seed Vault

Warning: Saga is end of support. Saga devices no longer receive updates from Solana Mobile. Keep your OS and apps updated where possible, avoid installing unknown apps, and consider migrating funds to another device for long-term storage.

If you're experiencing transaction signing issues with Phantom and Saga Seed Vault, the problem is usually related to authorization or setup.

Phantom isn't authorized to use Seed Vault

You may have skipped the authorization prompt during setup.

  1. Repeat the setup flow between Phantom and Seed Vault.
  2. When prompted, select Allow to authorize Phantom.
  3. To verify, open Seed Vault settings → Authorized apps and confirm Phantom appears.

Setup was incomplete

Phantom requires you to complete all setup prompts.

  1. Redo the connection flow from the beginning.
  2. Select Allow when prompted to grant access.

No prompt to authorize Phantom

System settings may be blocking the prompt.

  1. Confirm notifications are enabled for both Phantom and Seed Vault.
  2. Close and reopen both apps.
  3. Repeat setup and watch for the authorization prompt.

EVM or Bitcoin wallets are missing

Seed Vault doesn't support EVM or Bitcoin accounts. You can import these wallets directly into Phantom, but transactions won't use Seed Vault signing. This is expected.
