To withdraw crypto to your bank account, send your tokens to a crypto exchange, sell them for your local currency, then withdraw the funds to your bank account.
If you use Cash in the US (except NY), you can withdraw directly to a linked US bank account from your Cash account instead. See Send or withdraw funds from your Cash account.
Before you start
- Make sure the exchange supports both the token and the network you’re sending.
- Exchanges generally support well-known assets such as SOL, ETH, and stablecoins like USDC or USDT. If you’re holding meme coins or other lesser-known tokens, swap them to a widely supported token before withdrawing.
- Not all exchanges support CASH. If you’re sending CASH, first check Use CASH on supported exchanges.
- When sending to a new address, Phantom may display a warning. You can continue if you're sure the address is correct.
Step 1: Get your deposit address
- Choose an exchange available in your region and make sure your bank account is linked.
- Find the Deposit or Receive option for the token you’re sending.
- Copy the deposit address and note the network.
Step 2: Send your crypto
Make sure the network matches the one shown by the exchange. For example, if you’re sending USDC on Ethereum, use an Ethereum deposit address.
- In Phantom, start a send:
- Mobile app: Tap the + button in the lower right, then tap Send.
- Browser extension: Click Send on the Home tab.
- Paste the deposit address from the exchange, then choose the token. Optionally, save the address to your contacts so it's easy to find next time.
- Enter the amount.
- If the exchange requires a memo, enter it in the Memo field.
- Review the details.
- Confirm.
Step 3: Withdraw to your bank account
- Wait for the tokens to arrive.
- Sell them for your local currency.
- Withdraw the funds to your linked bank account.
Exchange fees, withdrawal times, and supported currencies vary by exchange. Selling crypto for fiat may also be taxable depending on where you live.
