How to set your Phantom wallet to instantly lock

For enhanced security, you can configure your Phantom wallet to always remain in a locked state. Follow these steps to enable the auto-lock feature for immediate protection:

Set your Phantom browser extension to instantly lock

1. Click the Account icon (upper left) to open the side menu.
2. Click the Settings icon (lower left). This icon looks like a cog.
3. Go to Security & Privacy.
4. Click Auto-Lock Timer.
5. Set the timer to Immediately.

Set your Phantom mobile app to instantly lock

1. Tap the Account icon (upper left) to open the side menu.
2. Tap the Settings icon (upper right). This icon looks like a cog.
3. Go to Security & Privacy.
4. Tap Require authentication.
5. Set the timer to Immediately.

Once enabled, your wallet will automatically lock each time you close the app. To regain access, you’ll need to authenticate using your password, PIN, or Face ID. This ensures maximum protection for your digital assets.
