If an unfamiliar token or collectible appears in your Phantom wallet, it's usually spam. Most unsolicited airdrops are scams designed to lure you into visiting a website or approving a malicious transaction. Receiving one doesn't mean your wallet is compromised, and nothing was taken from your wallet just because it appeared. The safest action is to report it as spam. After reporting, Phantom hides the asset and uses your report to improve future spam detection.
Report a token
If you see a suspicious token, you can report it as spam from the token's page.
- Mobile app: open the token, then tap the three-dot icon in the upper right, and then tap Report.
- Browser extension: open the token, then tap, click More > Report as Spam.
Native tokens such as SOL, ETH, and others don't have this option.
Report a collectible
If you see a suspicious token, you can report it as spam from the collectible's page. Open the collectible, then go to More > Report as Spam.
Warning: Never click links or open websites mentioned in airdropped collectibles or unfamiliar tokens. These sites often ask you to connect your wallet or approve a transaction, which can let scammers steal funds.
