How to import Privy wallet into Phantom

Warning: Do not share your secret recovery phrase or private key with anyone. If someone has access to your secret phrase or private key, they will have access to your wallet. Phantom support will never ask you for your secret phrase or your private key.

Some sites, like Pump.fun and Jupiter, use Privy to create a wallet when you sign up with your email. This wallet is secured on your behalf, but you can export the private key and import it into Phantom for full control and visibility.

Import Privy wallet into Phantom

1. Sign in to the site where your Privy wallet was created.
2. Look for an export wallet option and copy your private key.
3. Open Phantom and go to your wallet menu:
   1. In the browser extension, select your avatar in the top left corner, then select Add / Connect Wallet.
   2. In the mobile app, select your avatar in the top left cornet, then select Add Wallet.
4. Select Import Private Key.
5. Enter a name for the account, select the network (such as Solana), and then paste your key.
6. Select Import.
