How to change your Phantom username

Your Phantom username represents your unique wallet identity. You can use your username to receive crypto from other Phantom users or follow users in the Feed as they trade.

If you want to change your username, you can do so at any time—but only once every 14 days. Your new username will sync across all devices where you’re signed in with this Phantom profile. After you update it, your old username becomes available for anyone to claim immediately.

Usernames are not case-sensitive. If @phantom is taken, you won’t be able to choose @PHANTOM.

Browser extension

1. Click your profile avatar in the upper-left corner.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Click your username at the top (it looks like @handle).
4. Click the Username field.
5. Enter your new username, check availability, and save.

Your new username takes effect right away, and your old username is released immediately.

Mobile app
