How to change your Phantom username

Your Phantom username represents your unique wallet identity—it's the @username on top of your Phantom browser extension or mobile app. You can change it at any time, but only once every 14 days. Your new username will update across all devices where you’re signed in with this profile. 

Usernames are not case-sensitive. If @phantom is taken, you won’t be able to choose @PHANTOM. 

Browser extension

1. Open the Phantom browser extension.
2. Click your account avatar in the top-left corner.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Click your username at the top. Your username starts with the "@" symbol.
5. Click the Username field.
6. Enter your new username, check its availability, and save.

Mobile app

1. Open the Phantom mobile app.
2. Tap your account avatar in the top-left corner.
3. Go to Settings.
4. Tap your username at the top. Your username starts with the "@" symbol.
5. Tap the Username field.
6. Enter your new username, check its availability, and save.

Your username has been changed.
