App logs help Phantom Support diagnose issues faster. They contain local app data, crash reports, and public wallet addresses, but never sensitive information like your Secret Recovery Phrase, PIN, or private keys. Each device has its own log file, so if you use Phantom on both mobile and the browser extension, download logs from the device where the issue occurred.
From the welcome screen
If you haven't set up Phantom yet (haven't imported or created a wallet), you can download the logs by following these steps.
Mobile app
- Open the Phantom mobile app.
- Tap ? in the upper right.
- Tap Download App Logs and save the file.
Browser extension
On the welcome screen, follow these steps:
- Click the Phantom browser extension icon.
- Click Help in the upper right.
- Click Download App Logs and save the file.
On the login screen, follow these steps:
- Open the Phantom browser extension.
- Click the ? button in the upper right.
- Click Download App Logs and save the file.
From inside Phantom
Inside Phantom, you can always download your app logs in Settings.
Mobile app
- Tap your profile avatar in the upper left to open the sidebar.
- Go to Settings → Security & Privacy → Download App Logs.
- Tap Download and save the file.
Browser extension
- Click your profile avatar in the upper left.
- Go to Settings → Security & Privacy → Download App Logs.
- Click Download and save the file.
