You can add accounts from a Ledger hardware wallet to the Phantom browser extension via USB. This works for both new setups and existing Phantom wallets.
Phantom supports Ledger hardware wallets on the browser extension. For a full list of supported hardware wallets, see Supported hardware wallets in Phantom.
Before you connect
- Install the Solana, Ethereum (covers all EVM-compatible chains), and Bitcoin apps on your Ledger.
- Enable blind signing on each app you plan to use:
- Solana: Open the Solana app on your Ledger → Settings → Blind signing → Enable blind signing → set to Enabled.
- Ethereum: Open the Ethereum app on your Ledger → Settings → Blind signing → Enable transaction blind signing → set to Enabled.
