Receiving tokens in Phantom is simple. Just select Receive to copy your wallet address or show a QR code for the network you want to use.
Depending on where your tokens are coming from, you can receive them from an exchange, another Phantom user, or another wallet app.
Deposit tokens from an exchange
You can fund your Phantom wallet by withdrawing tokens from an exchange.
- On the Home tab, select Receive.
- On mobile, screen brightness increases on the Receive screen. This is expected and helps with QR code scanning.
- Select the network you want to receive tokens on.
- Copy your address or show the QR code.
- In the exchange, start a Withdraw or Send transaction.
- Paste your Phantom address into the destination address field.
- Select the same network you chose in Phantom.
- Using the wrong network can result in missing funds.
- Select the token and amount, then confirm the transaction.
Your tokens appear in Phantom once the transaction is confirmed. Some exchanges may take additional time to process withdrawals. Some networks, such as Bitcoin, may also take longer to confirm.

Troubleshooting
Sent tokens to an unsupported network
If you sent tokens using a network Phantom doesn’t support (such as BSC or Arbitrum), the tokens may not appear in your wallet. However, they’re usually still recoverable.
To access the funds, you’ll need to use an EVM-compatible wallet like MetaMask or Trust Wallet.
For step-by-step instructions, see How to recover tokens sent to unsupported networks.
