Receive crypto in Phantom

  • Updated

You can receive crypto to your Phantom wallet from an exchange, another wallet, or another Phantom user. Just share your wallet address or Phantom username with the sender.

Each network has one address that receives all tokens on that network. For example, your Solana address receives SOL, USDC, USDT, and any other token on Solana. You don't need a separate address for each token.

Receive crypto from an exchange

  1. On the Home tab, select Receive. Or open any token and select Receive.
  2. Select the network you want to receive on.
  3. Copy your address or display the QR code.
  4. In the exchange, start a withdrawal and paste your Phantom address.
  5. Select the same network you chose in Phantom.
  6. Enter the amount and confirm.

Tokens appear after the transaction confirms. Some exchanges require additional processing time, and networks such as Bitcoin may take longer.

Warning: Sending on the wrong network can result in lost funds. Always verify the network matches in both Phantom and the exchange.

Receive crypto from another wallet

  1. On the Home tab, select Receive. Or open any token and select Receive.
  2. Select the network you want to receive on.
  3. Copy your address or display the QR code.
  4. Share the address or QR code with the sender.
  5. Ask the sender to select the same network before sending.

Tokens appear after the transaction confirms. Networks such as Bitcoin may take longer.

Warning: Sending on the wrong network can result in lost funds. Always verify the network matches on both Phantom and the sending wallet.

Receive crypto from another Phantom user

Phantom users can send crypto to each other using usernames instead of wallet addresses. Share your Phantom username with the sender. Your username looks like @handle and appears in the upper left of the mobile app or browser extension.

The sender selects Send, chooses a token, enters your username, and confirms.
