When you import a wallet using a recovery phrase, you may see more accounts than expected. This is normal—your recovery phrase can generate an unlimited number of wallet addresses, all linked to the same phrase. Phantom displays all accounts with previous onchain activity so you can choose which ones to import.
When restoring your wallet using a recovery phrase:
- On the Import Accounts screen, select View Accounts and choose the specific accounts you don't want to import.
- Select Continue to add the selected accounts to your wallet.
You can also remove any accounts you don't need after import: select your profile avatar in the upper left → select the account → Remove Account.
