When you import a wallet using your recovery phrase (also known as a seed phrase), you may see more accounts than expected. That’s because your recovery phrase can generate an unlimited number of wallet addresses, all cryptographically linked to the same phrase.
When restoring your wallet using a recovery phrase:
- Select View Accounts. Phantom will display a list of all accounts associated with your recovery phrase, including any you’ve used before.
- Choose the specific accounts you want to import.
- Select Continue to add the selected accounts to your wallet.
This account recovery system helps you manage your wallet efficiently while keeping your assets secure and accessible.
Warning: Don't share your recovery phrase or private key with anyone. If someone has access to either, they will have full control of your wallet. Phantom Support will never ask for your recovery phrase or private key.
