Get started with Phantom Cash

Phantom Cash is a suite of financial tools built into your Phantom wallet. It lets you hold, send, receive, and spend CASH token directly from your wallet.

US-based users (except NY) can also fund their Cash accounts using debit cards, Apple Pay, and bank transfers, and withdraw funds directly to linked bank accounts.

Your Cash account

If you have a Phantom username, you have access to a Cash account. To open it, tap the Cash tab (the credit card icon in the bottom navigation).

With a Cash account, you can swap tokens in and out of it, send funds to other Phantom users and Solana addresses, and receive CASH transfers from other Phantom users.

Verify your identity

Identity verification (KYC) is required to access bank deposits, bank withdrawals, direct deposit, and the Phantom Cash debit card. It is available in the US only, except NY. Identity verification is handled by Link (a Stripe company). Phantom only stores your email.

  1. Open the Cash tab.
  2. Next to Verify Your Account, tap Start.
  3. Enter your US phone number and verify it.
  4. Provide your full name and US address.
  5. Provide your date of birth and Social Security number.
  6. Submit a government-issued ID and complete a face scan.

You'll be notified when verification is complete.

Activate your Phantom Cash debit card

After your identity verification is approved, you can activate your virtual Phantom Cash debit card to spend your balance anywhere Visa is accepted.

  1. Open the Cash tab.
  2. Tap the Your card is ready prompt.
  3. Tap Continue.
  4. Review your card details, then tap Continue.
  5. Tap I Agree to accept the card terms.
  6. Tap Create Card to finish setup.

If you dismissed the activation screen, return to the Cash tab within 24 hours of approval to finish setup. If the prompt no longer appears, you may need to redo KYC.
