Fund your Cash account

Funding your Cash account means adding CASH token to it. There are three ways to do this.

Swap tokens on Solana into Cash Instant At least $1 of Solana tokens in your wallet
Bank, debit card, or Apple Pay Two to three minutes US only (except NY), identity verification completed
Wire or bank transfer Same day or next business day US only (except NY), identity verification completed

Add CASH by swapping tokens

Swap any tokens on Solana that you hold in your Phantom wallet into CASH in your Cash account.

  1. Open the Cash tab.
  2. Tap Quick Sell Crypto.
  3. Choose a token and tap Max to sell all, or enter the amount (minimum $1).
  4. Confirm the transaction.

Funds arrive instantly.

Important: Tokens on other networks such as Ethereum or Polygon can't be used to fund your Cash account directly. Swap them to a token on Solana first.

Add CASH using bank, debit card, or Apple Pay

Add CASH to your Cash account using a bank account, debit card, or Apple Pay (via Stripe).

  1. Open the Cash tab.
  2. Tap Bank, Card, or Apple Pay.
  3. Enter the amount and choose your payment method.

    Note: Discover cards are not supported.

  4. Review and confirm.

Funds usually arrive within two to three minutes. US checking accounts and debit cards have the highest success rates.

Remove a linked payment method

If you want to remove a linked payment method, follow these steps:

  1. Go to CashAdd CashBank, Card, or Apple Pay.
  2. Tap and hold the payment method you want to remove.
  3. Tap Remove Payment Method.

Add CASH using wires and transfers

Send a wire or bank transfer to your Cash account for free. Bridge receives your funds and converts them 1:1 into CASH, which is credited to your Cash account.

  1. Open the Cash tab.
  2. Tap Direct Deposit.
  3. Copy your virtual account's routing number and account number.
  4. Put your virtual account in your bank's app or website.
  5. Send the deposit.

ACH transfers arrive the next business day. Domestic wire transfers arrive the same day during banking hours.

Funding limits

Deposits made with Bank, Card, or Apple Pay are subject to rolling limits.

Limits use a 7-day trailing window, not a daily reset. This means your available limit doesn’t automatically refresh 24 hours after a deposit.

For example:

  • If your limit is $500 and you deposit $500 on day 1, your full limit becomes available again on day 7.
  • If you deposit $100 each day for 5 days, your available limit gradually increases over the following days.

If you need to deposit a larger amount right away, use the Direct Deposit option instead.

Supported cards

Not all cards are supported for Phantom Cash.

Network Support
Visa Supported. Tends to have the highest success rates.
Mastercard Accepted, but your bank may decline the transaction. If declined, try a Visa card or another payment method.
American Express Accepted, but transactions are more likely to be declined by your bank. If declined, try a Visa card or another payment method.
Discover Not supported. Try a Visa, Mastercard, or American Express card instead.
