Swap crypto with your Cash account

Your Cash account holds your CASH balance separately from your main Phantom wallet. You can buy supported Solana tokens with your Cash balance, sell supported Solana tokens into your Cash account, or use the CASH token in your main Phantom wallet to buy tokens on other networks.

Before you swap

• Only tokens on Solana can be swapped into your Cash account. If your tokens are on another network, such as Ethereum or Polygon, bridge them to Solana first.
• Swapping supported stablecoins (USDC, USDT, USDG, PYUSD) into your Cash account is free. Swaps involving other tokens use standard swap fees.

Buy crypto with Cash

Buy crypto on Solana with Cash

Buy crypto on Solana directly with your Cash account. 

1. Open the token you want to buy, then tap Buy.
2. Make sure that your payment method (above the quick buy options) is set to Cash.
3. Enter the amount or use one of the quick buy options, and tap Review.
4. Review the quote, and tap Confirm.

Buy crypto on other networks with Cash

Your Cash account can only buy crypto on Solana. To buy on another network, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, first move your CASH into your main Phantom wallet. Once your CASH is in your main Phantom wallet, you can swap it for supported tokens on other networks.

1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
2. Under Send Cash, tap Send to Wallet.
3. Under Accounts, choose the wallet account you want to use (for example, "Account 1"). Your funds arrive in that account as the CASH token.
4. Open the token you want to buy, then tap Buy.
5. Set CASH as the token you're paying with.
6. Enter the amount or use one of the quick buy options, and tap Confirm.

Sell crypto into Cash

Sell supported Solana tokens into your Cash account from the Cash account or directly from a token page.

From a token page

1. Open the token that you want to sell, then tap Sell.
2. Make sure that your destination (above the quick sell options) is set to Receive Cash.
3. Enter the amount or use one of the quick sell options, then 
4. Review the quote, and confirm.

From the Cash account

1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
2. Under Add Cash, tap Sell Crypto. Phantom shows the tokens in your selected account that are eligible for swapping.
3. Choose a token and tap Max to sell all, or enter the amount (minimum $1).
4. Review and confirm.

Troubleshoot Cash swaps

I accidentally swapped into my Cash account

If you swapped tokens into your Cash account by mistake, you can swap them back into SOL, USDC, or another supported Solana token.

Cash balance didn't update after a swap

1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
2. Pull down to refresh. Swaps are near-instant but may occasionally take a moment to reflect.
3. Look for your transaction in the History section.
4. If you can't find your transaction, check whether your original token balance was deducted. If it was not, the swap may not have completed. Then try the swap again.

If the token was deducted but your Cash balance did not increase, contact Phantom Support.
