Swap crypto with your Cash account

You can swap between your Cash account and tokens on Solana. Buy crypto using the funds in your Cash account, or sell supported Solana tokens into your Cash account to fund it.

Before you swap

  • Only tokens on Solana can be swapped into your Cash account. If your tokens are on another network, such as Ethereum or Polygon, bridge them to Solana first.
  • Swaps from stablecoins (USDC, USDT, USDG, PYUSD) into your Cash account are free. Swaps involving other tokens use standard swap fees.

Buy crypto with your Cash account

Buy supported Solana tokens directly using the balance in your Cash account.

  1. Open any token, then tap Buy.
  2. Enter the amount. Make sure that your Cash account is set as the payment method.
  3. Tap Review and review the quote. Optionally, adjust the swap settings in the upper right.
  4. Tap Confirm.

Sell crypto into your Cash account

Sell supported Solana tokens into your Cash account.

From your Cash account

  1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
  2. Under Add Cash, tap Sell Crypto. Phantom shows the tokens in your selected account that are eligible for swapping.
  3. Choose a token and tap Max to sell all, or enter the amount (minimum $1).
  4. Review and confirm.

From a token page

  1. Open a token on Solana that you hold, then tap Sell.
  2. Enter the amount. Your Cash account is set as the payment method by default if the token you're selling is on Solana.
  3. Tap Review and review the quote. Optionally, adjust the swap settings in the upper right.
  4. Tap Confirm.

Move CASH into your Cash account

If your CASH is in your main Phantom wallet instead of your Cash account, you can move it into your Cash account.

  1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
  2. Under Add Cash, tap Sell Crypto.
  3. Next to CASH, tap Max to move all of it, or tap the icon next to Max to enter a custom amount.

Common issues

I accidentally swapped into my Cash account

If you swapped tokens into your Cash account by mistake, you can swap them back into SOL, USDC, or another supported Solana token.

I swapped a token but it's not showing up in my account

A token may be incorrectly sent to your Cash account, but you can recover it. In the Phantom mobile app, go to Settings → tap your profile at the top → Recover Cash Assets.

You need to have a Cash balance of at least $1 for this option to work. If you don't see it, add funds to reach $1 first.

Swapped a token into Cash but the balance didn't change

  1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
  2. Pull down to refresh. Swaps are near-instant but may occasionally take a moment to reflect.
  3. Look for your transaction in the History section.
  4. If you can't find your transaction, check whether your original token balance was deducted. If it was not, the swap may not have completed. Then try the swap again.

If the token was deducted but your Cash balance did not increase, contact Phantom Support.
