Send or withdraw funds from your Cash account

Your Cash account lets you send funds in several ways. You can move CASH to another account in your Phantom wallet, send it to another Phantom user or Solana wallet, or, if you’re in the US (except NY), send USD directly to your own or someone else’s bank account.

Send onchain

Move funds to another account in your Phantom wallet

Move CASH between accounts in your own Phantom wallet. This is useful if you want to keep funds separate or move CASH into another account before swapping or using it.

  1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
  2. Under Send Cash, tap Send to Wallet.
  3. Under Accounts, choose an account in your Phantom wallet.
  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Review and confirm.

Funds arrive as CASH, not SOL. Once CASH appears in your portfolio, you can swap it for SOL or other tokens.

If you're outside the US and want to convert CASH to fiat (USD, EUR, and so on), follow the steps in Withdraw crypto to your bank account.

Send to a Phantom user or Solana address

Send CASH to another Phantom user using their username or directly to any Solana wallet address.

  1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
  2. Under Send Cash, tap Send to Wallet.
  3. Enter the recipient's Phantom username or wallet address, or select one from Recents, Contacts, or Accounts. To save an address for future use, tap the + button, then tap Add Contact.
  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Review and confirm.

If sent to a Phantom user, funds arrive in their Cash account balance.

If sent to a Solana address, funds arrive as CASH. If the recipient has never held CASH before, you may see a one-time fee to set it up for receiving CASH.

Withdraw to a bank

Withdraw to your bank account

Available in the US only (except NY). Complete identity verification (KYC) first, then withdraw USD directly from your Cash account to a linked US bank account.

  1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
  2. Under Send Cash, tap Withdraw to Bank.
  3. Select or add a bank account.

    Tip: To find a previously linked bank account, tap the search bar, clear the current selection, and browse by recents, banks, or accounts.

  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Choose a speed: Standard or Fast.
  6. Review and confirm.

Funds arrive as USD in your bank account, converted at a 1:1 rate. You receive an email confirmation once the transfer is complete on the Phantom side.

Withdraw to someone else's bank account

Available in the US only (except NY). Complete identity verification (KYC) first, then send USD directly from your Cash account to another person’s linked US bank account.

  1. On the Home tab, tap Cash.
  2. Under Send Cash, tap Send to Wallet.
  3. Select a bank from the Banks section, or add one by tapping the + button in the upper right, then tapping Add Bank Account and filling out the recipient's routing and account number.

    Tip: To find a previously linked bank account, tap the search bar, clear the current selection, and browse by recents, banks, or accounts.

  4. Enter the amount.
  5. Choose a speed: Standard or Fast.
  6. Review and confirm.

Funds arrive as USD in the recipient's bank account, converted at a 1:1 rate. You receive an email confirmation once the transfer is complete on the Phantom side.

Troubleshoot sends and withdrawals

I can't withdraw from my Cash account

First, check the following:

  • If you're withdrawing to a bank account, confirm your bank account is still linked under CashSend CashWithdraw to Bank.
  • Make sure you're physically located in the US and in your verified state.

If everything looks correct, restart Phantom and try again. If the issue persists, contact Phantom Support.

My bank transfer is stuck

If your funds haven't arrived within the expected timeframe, contact Phantom Support.
