Send Bitcoin using Sparrow wallet

If your sendable Bitcoin balance in Phantom is lower than your total balance, you can use Sparrow wallet to manually control which UTXOs are included in a transaction.

Warning: Sparrow wallet doesn't have sat protection. You can permanently lose rare sats or Bitcoin collectibles if you accidentally include them in a transaction.

Export your recovery phrase from Phantom

  1. In Phantom, go to SettingsSecurity & PrivacyShow Recovery Phrase.
  2. Copy your 12-word recovery phrase.

Warning: Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase with anyone—not even Phantom Support. Always store your phrase in a secure, offline location.

Import your wallet into Sparrow

  1. Download Sparrow wallet from sparrowwallet.com/download.
  2. Open Sparrow and select Import Wallet.
  3. Select BIP39 SeedUse 12 Words.
  4. Paste your recovery phrase.
  5. Click Discover Wallet.
  6. Create a password when prompted.

Sparrow will scan and display your full Bitcoin balance.

Send Bitcoin

  1. Go to the Send tab.
  2. Enter the recipient address and amount.
  3. Optionally, add a label for your records.
  4. Click Create Transaction.

  5. Click Finalize Transaction for SigningSign.
  6. Enter your password and click Broadcast Transaction.

Once the transaction receives network confirmations, your Bitcoin is sent.
